Scenario
Why?
Different types of scenarios exist that each serve a different purpose, for example to develop user criteria, to generate ideas or to reflect on a concept. Storyboards are a particularly common form to capture scenarios.
How?
Create narrative or visual stories about important interactions in a specific situation. Depending on your aim you can create the appropriate storyboard or scenario; for example: context scenario to develop a user requirements list, key path scenario to get an idea for the interaction, validation scenario to test your design idea, etc.
Ingrediënts
- A basic understanding of the users and the interactions within the intended context of use.
- A clear idea about what you want to achieve with your scenario.
- A model of your user(s).
- Drawing or writing skills.
